Abande is an original abstract game of connected pieces. Place or move pieces and stacks and always keep the board connected. Abande can be played on boards of very different shapes: orthogonal and hexagonal boards are available. There is also a snub-square variant.

“Solid, accessible, thoroughly recommendable stacking game that, as any of Dieter Stein’s creations, squeezes out the most of merely a handful of rather intuitive rules.” – Ottia, BoardGameGeek

“La règle est constituée de quelques contraintes simples qui génèrent un jeu inattendu et surprenant.” – François Haffner, jeuxsoc.fr

“This game is beautiful in its simplicity. The rules seem somewhat counter-intuitive at first, but don’t take very long at all to grasp. It’s amazing how the designer was able to create very different behaviors and relations between different pieces simply through the movement rules. All the pieces are completely the same, yet each one has different qualities during play, simply based on its position.” – Devan Browne, devanbrowne.com

“May at first seem light, but actually a medium-weight game of marked complexity.” – MobyNostromo, BoardGameGeek

“One of those good ‘simple rules, but very tactical gameplay’-abstract games.” – AnttiT, BoardGameGeek
