[faˈbriːk] - an abstract "worker placement" game

This is (besides Polar) the other part of studies for the game Urbino.

Fabrik consists mainly of the concept of two neutral “worker” figures (accessible by both players), which in collaboration determine spaces where in a subsequent step the players’ stones can be placed.

The winning condition here (“n in a row”) was deliberately selected as it is one of the most utilized concepts in classic and contemporary game history. In fact, the restricted placement rules in Fabrik help getting over the first player advantage you see in other plain Gomoku-like games and as such, Fabrik is somehow related to Renju.
