Minoa is played on a hexagonal board with black and colored sticks. In their turn, players either place a neutral black stick in the inner region of the board or they place a stick of their own color on the frame. Black sticks must be placed in a way that regions include at least one line at the frame of the board. This way, at the end of the game, each region can be assigned to a player.
The game is won by the player with the largest combined territory.
